Lori Lightfoot Pounds Sand

Lori Lightfoot was voted out in Chicago. When asked by the media “how much does that have to do with you being a woman, specifically a black woman?” Lightfoot answered “About 99%.”

She actually said “I’m a black woman in America.”

Wow, 99% of the people in Chicago are misogynistic racists? Who knew?

In her concession speech she said:

“I stand here with my head held high. I’m grateful that we removed a record number of guns off the streets. We reduced homicides and we started making more progress on public safety.”

The Democrat controlled police in Chicago claimed:

“Over the past 3 years, robberies, burglaries and thefts hit record lows in Chicago. Each of these categories saw decreases not seen for the last 50 years.”

That’s amazing!

Wait, that can’t be not true? Would the police actually lie to us?

Tucker Carlson did a fact check on their claim.

“Let’s check the police department’s own statistics, and here they are. From 2019 to 2023 in Chicago, robberies were up, not down actually, up 27%. Theft, nearly 40%. Murder, kind of a significant category, 59%! How about motor vehicle theft, was that up or down? Up 270%! There were 300 more murders by gunshot in 2021 then there were in 2019. There were 2,000 more shooting victims. That’s not a safer city, actually, that’s a much more dangerous city that people are fleeing for their very lives.”

Looks like Lori Lightfoot and the police really did lie after all.

Democrats and RINOs will lie, cheat and steal to gain power. It’s too bad many voters can’t see them for who they are and don’t bother paying attention. Otherwise they would never get elected again.

The sad thing is, the ignorant voters in Chicago will likely vote in another horrible Democrat that will continue destroying their city.

Oh well, I’ll take the win. This is a good start!
