The Ukrainian Azov Nazi Battalion
It’s interesting how Democrats call Republicans white supremacists yet they embrace Ukrainian Nazis, giving them billions of dollars in weapons and financial aid.
Many Democrats on Facebook challenge me when I speak about these Nazis, pretending they don’t exist. I’ve said to them a number of times, a 5-second search would bring up countless videos on this battalion in YouTube. They never bother, so I’m going to put together this web page with a number of links to videos and articles.
The first article written on April 22nd, 2022 is by Balwan Nagial from Times of Israel.
Neo-Nazi Azov Battalion is a threat from within
APR 17, 2022, 6:54 PM
- The Azov Special Operations Detachment, also known as Azov Regiment or Azov Battalion, became part of the National Guard of Ukraine in 2014. This neo-Nazi Battalion is based at Mariupol in the coastal region of the Sea of Azov.
- “The ascendency of a transnational global fascist terrorist network has drawn accelerationists seeking military training with openly neo-Nazi, white supremacist, anti-Semitic organizations like the Azov battalion.” (Bacigalupo, James; Valeri, Robin Maria; Borgeson, Kevin (14 Jan 2022).
The Azov Battalion was formed on 05 May 2014 at Berdinsk by a white nationalist. This outfit was regulated by the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine and branded as ‘Special Tasks Patrol Police’. Initially, it was funded independently, and one of the leading financiers was a Jewish-Ukrainian billionaire and oligarch, Igor Kolomoyskyi. Many political party members of the ‘Patriot Party’ of Ukraine joined this organization.

As you can see, the foundation of the Nazi battalion was as an independent organization yet it was still regulated by the ministry of interior of Ukraine. It was also officially folded into the National Guard of Ukraine. They never said “you, Nazis, get out of here!”
Balwan continues:
Azov’s founding member Andriy Biletsky, a leader of the far-right Social-National Assembly, had specified in 2010 that the historic task of our nation was to lead white races of the world in a final crusade for their survival, a drive against Semite-led Untermenschen.
I will add one more piece, his conclusion:
The West often claims lofty moral principles to project themselves as morally superior to their opponents through sanctions. But the fact is they are not holy but also vulnerable. The Russian invasion of Ukraine threatens to expose the double standard of the West. The US-led NATO blinked over Ukraine’s alliance with neo-Nazi elements, and this is very sad.

The Economic Times of India referenced a Washington Post article that stated:
“Even as they have consistently denied any Nazi affiliations, their uniforms and tattoos on many of the fighters display a number of fascist and Nazi symbols, including swastikas and SS symbols.
Click here to read the article titled “Whitewashing Neo-Nazi Battalion in Ukraine” from Blitz where they state:
One should note that Azov is not the only neo-Nazi military organization freely operating in Ukraine since 2014 regardless of its current president being a Jew, it is merely the most famous one.
Next, we have Consortium News writing about the fact that Zelensky brought a Nazi with him to give a speech to the Greek parliament!
On Thursday a major row erupted when Zelensky brought along a Ukrainian soldier of Greek heritage from the city of Mariupol, who just happened to be a member of the ne0-Nazi Azov Regiment
People in Greece were not happy, to say the least.
Former Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Kotzias said: “The Greek government irresponsibly undermined the struggle of the Ukrainian people, by giving the floor to a Nazi.
Even the Democrat controlled Wikipedia site can’t hide the Nazi connections to the Asov Battalion.
The battalion drew controversy over allegations of torture and war crimes,[15][16] as well as association with neo-Nazi ideology.[17][18] Azov uses controversial symbols, including a variation of the Wolfsangel insignia used by divisions of the Waffen-SS and Wehrmacht during World War II
And
In March 2015, a spokesman for the Azov Batallion told USA Today that only 10% to 20% of the group’s members are Nazis.
Right, it’s okay, only a couple hundred members are Nazis. No big deal. If that’s what they admit, obviously the water is probably a lot murkier than they are making it out to be.
Now let’s look at the article “Congress bans arms to Ukraine militia linked to neo-Nazis.”
“White supremacy and neo-Nazism are unacceptable and have no place in our world,” Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), an outspoken critic of providing lethal aid to Ukraine, said in a statement to The Hill on Tuesday.
You read that correctly, Democrats used to be opposed to nazis. Representative Khanna continues:
I am very pleased that the recently passed omnibus prevents the U.S. from providing arms and training assistance to the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion fighting in Ukraine.
Then there is the article “HURRAH FOR THE AZOV!”- The curious case of the BBC whitewashing of Nazism in Ukraine.
Former Azov leader Andriy Biletsky’s promise to “lead the white races of the world in a final crusade…against Semite-led Untermenschen” was seemingly not enough for the BBC, which conveniently omitted this chilling proclamation from its report.
Over the last 8 years the BBC has written countless articles and produced many videos about Nazis in Ukraine, yet there they were trying to pretend Nazis didn’t exist.
But the BBC seems incredibly adept at finding neo-Nazis for its news reports, in which they keep popping up in. Around the same time, the Atkins fascism-denial report was broadcast, BBC’s Jeremy Bowen appeared surrounded by soldiers bearing neo-nazi insignia on the flagship Six O’Clock News.
Al Jazeera writes:
In January 2018, Azov rolled out its street patrol unit called National Druzhyna to “restore” order in the capital, Kyiv. Instead, the unit carried out pogroms against the Roma community and attacked members of the LGBTQ community.
Imagine that, Nazis attacking LGBTQ people yet those same people in America support them today. I guess it’s a case of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend?”
Referencing The Nation, a left-wing online website, Al Jazeera also points out:
Ukraine is the world’s only nation to have a neo-Nazi formation in its armed forces,” a correspondent for the US-based magazine, the Nation, wrote in 2019.
Once again, Democrats acknowledging Nazis in Ukraine.
Let’s start looking at the videos.
Here’s a video by Time from a year ago. This is when Time was being honest about the Asov Battalion. Even the title of the article was honestly titled “Inside a white supremacist militia in Ukraine.”

In this video the BBC acknowledges how the Right Sector, another far right / Nazi organization helped “overthrow Ukraine’s pro-Russian president.”
