We Are Next

This doctor from Madrid shares his experience dealing with the coronavirus with limited equipment/resources.

It’s only 5 minutes long.

It’s heart wrenching.

Though these words weren’t said specifically in this video, I have heard them repeatedly from videos recorded by nurses and doctors around the world. They go something along the lines like this, “when you die of coronavirus, you die alone.”

This will happen to us in America because our politicians didn’t take coronavirus seriously.

If you don’t want this to happen to you, isolate yourself and your family. Do not give in to the temptation of meeting with anyone else until hospitals are past the point of over saturation.

Right now there aren’t enough beds, there aren’t enough ventilators, there aren’t enough doctors and nurses and there isn’t enough medication.

At some point, after the majority of infected people have passed through, which might take at least 1 or 2 months, hospitals will then be able to care for us, without having to pick who will live/die.

President Trump continues to act like coronavirus is no big deal and the needs aren’t as great as people claim. He obviously doesn’t understand it’s better to be over prepared than unprepared.

Mocking New York Governor Cuomo, Trump said:

“I have a feeling that a lot of the numbers that are being said in some areas are just bigger than they’re going to be,” he said. “I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators. You go into major hospitals sometimes, and they’ll have two ventilators. And now all of a sudden they’re saying, ‘Can we order 30,000 ventilators?’”

I realize Governor Cuomo is an anti-American, baby killing, anti 1st amendment, anti 2nd amendment nut job, that doesn’t mean hes always wrong. When it comes to the needs of the hospitals in his state he might very well be right. He probably is.
