No Brains Or Common Sense? Don’t Worry, Democrats Will Still Hire You To Be a Teacher

“Michigan Axes Basic Skills Test for Teachers”
Doesn’t seem too bad, does it? Let’s look at the test Democrats and Republicans have thrown out the window. After all, it’s just a “basic skills test,” isn’t it? Well, yeah, it also has another name. It’s called the SAT. Yep, that same SAT everyone takes before they graduate from high school. The Princeton Review describes it as:
“The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student’s readiness for college, and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. College admissions officers will review standardized test scores alongside your high school GPA, the classes you took in high school, letters of recommendation from teachers or mentors, extracurricular activities, admissions interviews, and personal essays. How important SAT scores are in the college application process varies from school to school.“
Isn’t it strange teachers don’t have to pass the SAT?
Looking at this from the outside I wonder, why remove a test that insures higher-quality, better educated teachers? If you were going to change something in our education system, wouldn’t the change be based on whether or not it is making things better or worse?
It certainly couldn’t be argued that pursuing dumber teachers is better for the education of our children, could it?
Democrats are succeeding in one critical area, in a way that could hardly be called “success.” They are churning out children from the Democrat-controlled “public” school system who can’t compete with the rest of the world on basic levels.
What is the American EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM like UNDER DEMOCRATS?
Obviously, NO STANDARDS required. Teachers can be as dumb as rocks and still be teachers. Go figure.
You know, it’s one thing to remove standards in areas that aren’t really important or don’t involve life or death situations.
For instance, it doesn’t really matter what your IQ is if your job is mopping floors or sorting papers. It also doesn’t take much intelligence to scrape bubble gum off of surfaces. I could name plenty of jobs where there isn’t a huge requirement for intelligence or common sense.
What about our schools? How about nuclear reactors? Democrats don’t want to offend anyone, so they are removing standards everywhere. So, there will be a Homer Simpson in every nuclear reactor control room.
Last week, a mother complained because her daughter didn’t make cheerleading tryouts. How should the school have solved that complaint? They should have said to the mother “I’m sorry, your daughter just didn’t qualify. According to the standards we have for who can be a cheerleader, your daughter didn’t make it.”
No, that’s not how it works with the snowflake generation. The new way of dealing with butt-hurt millennials is to say “oh, I’m sorry we offended you, please allow us to make up for it by removing any standards we might have so that you can participate.”
The insane thing is, this idiocy has even infected military standards. Women do not have the same physical standards as men. Now, a 5 foot zero tall woman who can barely lift 50 pounds is put in combat with 275 pound soldiers. When a soldier is injured, the female soldier can barely carry away his backpack! The only thing she can do to help is yell to the dying soldier “wait here, I’ll get help.”
You wouldn’t think a pulse is the only thing required to educate the minds of our children.
This is just part of the problem with Democrat-controlled schools. The other part is the reality that Democrats take everything personal, and they will fail our sons and daughters if our children don’t fall in line.
Years ago, my daughter was given a lower grade on her test, even though she got everything right. When she asked the teacher why the one answer was marked wrong, the teacher asked “was that the answer I gave you?” My daughter said “no, but it was an opinion question, and I gave my opinion.” The teacher said “but that wasn’t the answer I told you to give, therefore you got it wrong.”
Imagine if my daughter would’ve been trying out for a fancy school and the difference in her grade took her from a 4.0 down to a 3.9. Would it have made the difference of her being Accepted? Yes, of course! Do you see what I’m talking about?
In many areas where Democrats have control, jobs, schools, politics, unions, the unspoken truth is, “if I don’t like you or your politics, you’re not moving forward, I will make sure of that.”
Imagine this multiplied times tens of millions. Imagine children all over America being given better or worse grades, depending on whether or not they support the teacher’s liberal agenda.
When it comes to the teachers the Democrat-controlled school system it’s removing requirements and standards. Of course they remain for the students, whom they can either push forward or hold back at a whim.
I know, many people are going to scream that this was a bipartisan bill signed by a Republican governor and “bipartisan” senators . Here’s the thing. I don’t trust politicians.
Right now there is a shortage of teachers. I believe both parties will do whatever they can to make themselves look good.
American children today struggle with geology, geography, astronomy, science, math, English and everything else. Rather than make the children work harder to get better grades, or replace the teachers who are dumb as rocks, the teachers who are “teaching” our children, the Democrat-controlled schools simply lower the standards for everyone, including the teachers.
I doubt intelligent Democrats send their children to the Democrat-controlled schools. They know how bad they are and they want better for their kids.

It just doesn’t make any sense how America is handling the educational system. Instead of trying to figure out how to make students and teachers smarter, the American school system is going after quantity of teachers enrolled and quantity of students graduating, versus the quality of teachers enrolled and the quality of students graduated.
Let’s pretend this is a business. If people aren’t buying your product because your product is substandard, you aren’t going to lower the standards to get more sales. Yes, you could lower the price and sell a substandard, cheap product, but wouldn’t it be better to build a better product and charge more money for it?
Instead of hiring smarter teachers to help create smarter children, the American education system has decided to hire more dumb teachers so they can churn out more dumb students.
The really sad thing is, in places like Michigan, Republicans have decided to join with the Democrats to increase the numbers of mediocre teachers and students in America.
America, we need to demand more and better, not less and lower quality. Even if our children don’t thank us for it, they will benefit from it.
