Donald Trump Switched to a Running Game

All the way up to the debates, Donald Trump was playing the political game like a confident quarterback in football. When he got to the debate, the playoffs, he switched to a defensive running game.

Up to now, Trump was hitting hard, attacking Hillary, exposing her crimes, lies and inconsistencies. His statements were controversial, but they were effective. But last night? Wow, what happened?

Years ago, Art Monk and the Minnesota Vikings won every game by playing as winners, aggressively passing the ball and wiping out their opponents. Then, when they got to the playoffs, they played defensively, and tried to run the ball, resulting in a wimpy end of season, instead of winning the Super Bowl.

Hillary is the biggest target in the world, except he didn’t even aim for her. He didn’t go after:

– Email scandals

– Benghazi

– Her lies, like when she said she “landed under sniper fire”

And many, many more.

Instead, Hillary was on offense the entire time, while Donald was on defense. He shouldn’t just whine that Lester Holt shilled for the Democrats. We all knew it was going to happen. Trump should’ve been prepared for that, and he should’ve been ready to change the questions/answers, so that he could effectively challenge Hillary.

One of his biggest missed opportunities was when he was challenged on sexism.

“he had planned to be ‘extremely rough’ on Clinton and her family, then thought better of it, saying, ‘I just can’t do it. It’s inappropriate. It’s not nice.’

But in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity immediately afterward, Trump said I didn’t want to say whatever he had planned because ‘her husband was in the room along with her daughter, what I think is a very nice young lady and I didn’t want to say what I was going to say about what’s been going on in their life. So I decided not to say it. I thought it would be very disrespectful to Chelsea and maybe to the family.'”

Really? You didn’t want to be “disrespectful to Chelsea and maybe to the family?” Donald Trump, are you out of your mind?

Bill Clinton raped and molested countless women, yet you think it’s more important to protect the molester/rapist, his wife the enabler and his daughter?

Unbelievable.

In the next debate, go back to throwing passes. Go back to winning the game. You aren’t a wimp, don’t debate/play like one.
