Answering pro-abortion Nick Kadylak
Pro-abortion Nick Kadylak asked me the following question on Twitter:
“Just curious, do you support widely available birth control and comprehensive sex ed in schools?”
I answered:
“Just curious, do you support arms & legs being torn off of pre-born children? How about harvesting them for their body parts?”
To which Nick responded:
“100! First, it’s a fetus, NOT a baby. 2nd, fetal tissue research has saved millions of ppl through vaccines & other treatments.
And I love how you refuse to answer my simple question.”
Well Nick, let’s take this from the beginning. Your “simple question” is not so simple, and can’t easily be answered in 140 characters. Also, I wanted to see your answer to my question.
Before I get into the answers, let’s set the ground rule that we agree life begins at the moment of conception. Every biology book, from when we first start reading, up until we graduate from college, makes that statement. If you don’t accept that fact, then you’re not willing to have an honest, logical discussion.
“‘Conception’ refers to the moment at which the sperm penetrates and fertilises the ovum to form a viable zygote. It does not refer to the process of implantation of the newly created human embryo, which is a separate event, occurring about 7-8 day’s after conception. A woman is pregnant because conception has occurred, not because implantation has occurred. This distinction is important.
At the precise and unique moment of conception, a woman is ‘pregnant’ with “a new individual “. This is an accurate and informed medical description.”
Ok, let’s start with birth control. We will look at this from the two most popular methods of birth control, the birth control pill and condoms.
Birth control pill – This one seems like a no-brainer. A woman pops a pill, has as much sex as she wants and doesn’t get pregnant. Oh, and miraculously, there are no side effects to the pill.
Facts:
Less than 1 out of 100 women will get pregnant each year if they always take the pill each day as directed.
About 9 out of 100 women will get pregnant each year if they don’t always take the pill each day as directed.
Planned Parenthood knows women don’t “always take the pill each day as directed.” The reality is, a significant number of women who take the birth control pill become pregnant. Since the statistic “9 out of 100” is provided by Planned Parenthood, I’m betting it’s much higher. I know many women who took the pill and got pregnant.
I’ll make it easy though, I’ll use a low number. Let’s just say 5% of women who use the birth control pill become pregnant. Fair?
Think about it, would you buy a car from a dealership that guaranteed every 20th car would break down on you?
Now the other part of the pill they don’t tell you about. The pill causes abortions. Let’s go back to Physicians for Life.
“To stop conception occurring, that is, to stop sperm and ovum joining, is contraception.
Condoms, diaphragms, spermicides, vasectomy and tubal ligation are accurately described as methods of contraception. Obviously any drug or device used after conception has occurred cannot be termed a contraceptive.”
Makes sense, right? Prevent sperm and egg from joining, contraception. Discarding fertilized egg, abortion. Logical?
With that in mind:
“all formulations of the pill cause changes to the lining of the womb (properly known as the endometrium). Under the influence of the chemicals in the pill, the lining of the womb doesn’t grow to the proper thickness. You will notice that your periods are lighter when you are on the pill. This is because the lining of the womb has not developed properly. But this change also means that the womb is not in the right stage of development to allow a fertilized egg to attach properly (this attachment process is known as implantation).”
Let’s explain this differently:
The Mini (progestin-only) Pill
“The Physician’s Desk Reference, 1996 edition (page 1872) describes “Progesten-Only Oral contraceptives” by saying they “are known to alter the cervical mucus and exert a progestational effect on the endometrium, interfering with implantation.”
Clearly the progestin-only pill, by its effects on the endometrium, causes abortions and must be added to the list of abortive birth control methods. Like all the aforementioned products, the changes the mini-pill creates in the mother’s endometrium make the womb hostile to the newly conceived child, rather than hospitable to him,”
Okay, but that’s not the most “popular” pill that women use. What is?
Combination oral contraceptives
According to Randy Alcorn, and he’s reading from the Physicians Desk Reference:
“there are not one but three mechanisms of birth control pills: 1) inhibiting ovulation (the primary mechanism), 2) thickening the cervical mucus, thereby making it more difficult for sperm to travel to the egg, and 3) thinning and shriveling the lining (endometrium) of the uterus to the point that it is unable to facilitate the implantation of the newly fertilized egg. While the first two mechanisms are contraceptive, the third is abortive.”
So, the:
“Combination oral contraceptives act by suppression of gonadotropins. Although the primary mechanism of this action is inhibition of ovulation, other alterations include changes in the cervical mucus, which increase the difficulty of sperm entry into the uterus, and changes in the endometrium which reduce the likelihood of implantation. (The PDR, 1995, page 1775”
Again, If you stop “implantation,” you prevent a living human being from being born.
What about side effects?
“The birth control pill and other birth control products can and have killed women not only in the United States, but all over the world. Oftentimes the pill leads to cardiovascular problems which can result in death.
Studies show that most women who have died from the use of the pill or other birth control products have died from blood clots, heart attacks, or pulmonary embolisms. As you can see on our side effects link, the pill also causes many other serious problems such as cancer, pelvic inflammatory disease, depression and much more.”
Now let me just answer your next argument. You might say “It’s just a clump of cells, not a human being!”
Well, The answer to that is easy. Human beings are cellular growth from the day we are conceived until the day we die. As a matter of fact, I can answer your second challenge to me at this point.
I asked you:
“do you support arms & legs being torn off of pre-born children? How about harvesting them for their body parts?”
You responded:
“100! First, it’s a fetus, NOT a baby. 2nd, fetal tissue research has saved millions of ppl through vaccines & other treatments.
Let’s be honest here, okay? “Fetus” is a stage of growth / development of a human being. We start out as a zygote. The National Institute for Health says:
“Gestation is the period of time between conception and birth when a baby grows and develops inside the mother’s womb.
A single sperm and the mother’s egg cell meet in the Fallopian tube. When the single sperm enters the egg, conception occurs. The combined sperm and egg is called a zygote. The zygote contains all of the genetic information (DNA) needed to become a baby. Half the DNA comes from the mother’s egg and half from the father’s sperm.”
The NIH has extensive information on the growth of a baby inside the womb, I’ll just include this small part:
“At the end of the 10th week of pregnancy, your baby is no longer an embryo. It is now a fetus, the stage of development up until birth.”
Notice they say the word “baby” Along with “fetus?” That’s because “baby” is a generic word for the small child inside and outside of the womb up until a certain stage. After all, you wouldn’t say to a woman “You’re pregnant with a fetus.”
“Weeks 11 – 14
Your baby’s eyelids close and will not reopen until about the 28th week.
Baby’s face is well-formed.
Limbs are long and thin.
Nails appear on the fingers and toes.
Genitals appear.
Baby’s liver is making red blood cells.
The head is very large–about half of baby’s size.
Your little one can now make a fist.
Tooth buds appear for the baby teeth.”
The three commonly discussed stages of growth are zygote to embryo to fetus.
When the baby is born, she will continue to be called a baby, or newborn, until she reaches a certain size. At that point she will be referred to as a toddler. After that comes preschool, grade school, adolescent / teenager and finally, adult. Well, I guess there is one more stage, senior citizen!
These are all stages of growth. Again, fetus is a stage of growth. when you say:
“fetal tissue research has saved millions of ppl through vaccines & other treatments.”
You are acknowledging that human beings are used / killed for the benefit of mankind. Let’s see, who else thought the way you do? Oh yeah, this friendly guy called Joseph Mengele, a.k.a. “The Angel of Death.”
Mengele:
“tortured men, women and children and did medical experiments of unspeakable horror during the Holocaust.
Victims were put into pressure chambers, tested with drugs, castrated, frozen to death.
Children were exposed to experimental surgeries performed without anesthesia, transfusions of blood from one to another, isolation endurance, reaction to various stimuli.
The doctors made injections with lethal germs, sex change operations, removal of organs and limbs.”
Mengele also:
“impregnated one girl with the sperm of another twin, pampered her during her pregnancy and attended the birth himself.
But when he saw that there was only one baby and not twins, he tore the baby right out of the mother`s uterus, threw it into an oven and walked away,”
But hey, it was for the good of mankind right? Oh, I’m sorry, you must be a Democrat, I mean personkind.
Nick, people like you who support the killing of innocent human beings for their own benefit are scary. Frankly, it’s frightening to live in a society where people of your political party impose laws like abortion, cloning and embryonic stem cell research on the rest of us. And yes, cloning is legal, you’re just not allowed to be born. Look it up.
Let’s get to part two of your question. Do I support “comprehensive sex ed in schools?”
I don’t support anything a Democrat is in charge of. Democrats don’t have morals. well, they do, just not morals I believe in. To me, a “woman’s right to choose” just means women want to have the right to kill their children. Not very moral.
A lot of Republicans don’t have morals either. They actually should be called libertarians, but there’s not much money available as a libertarian, so they run and legislate as Republicans.
“Comprehensive Sex Ed” is more than just the birds and the bees. Some of the teaching includes:
Homosexuality – Democrats teach that people are born as homosexuals, yet not one scientist has ever found a “gay” gene. Though I don’t doubt that some, or even many humans are born with homosexual tendencies, most of them, if not all, can choose to be homosexual or not.
Psychologists have theorized that children are imprinted by age 3. If a child has been molested or has been conditioned to accept homosexuality before that age, that child will have more of a tendency to have homosexual behavior.
Birth control
Since I have proven that birth control results in abortions, no, I don’t support Democrats giving my daughter birth control pills.
I haven’t discussed condoms yet though. This topic is even more interesting.
Condoms
Planned Parenthood says condoms are “safe, effective and easy to get.”
Yeah, “easy to get” because they hand them out like candy at our high schools and colleges.
How effective are condoms? Not very.
According to Planned Parenthood:
“Each year, 2 out of 100 women whose partners use condoms will become pregnant if they always use condoms correctly.
So if kids use condoms “correctly,” two out of 100 will become pregnant. Kids don’t even tie their shoelaces correctly, so what are the real world estimates?
“Each year, 18 out of 100 women whose partners use condoms will become pregnant if they don’t always use condoms correctly.”
Let that sink in. This is from Planned Parenthood’s website. It Needs to be repeated.
“Each year, 18 out of 100 women whose partners use condoms will become pregnant if they don’t always use condoms correctly.”
Planned Parenthood is admitting an extremely high number of women will become pregnant using condoms.
How does Planned Parenthood say you can make condom use more “effective?”
– use spermicide with them
– pull out before ejaculation
Hmm, somehow I don’t see teenagers, or anyone else for that matter, doing either of those!
Tell you what, I will lowball Planned Parenthood’s number. They say 18%, let’s just say 10% of condom use results in a pregnancy. Back to the dealership, would you buy a vehicle from them with the guarantee that every 10th car would break down on you?
I seriously doubt it.
Why would women allow men to use condoms, a product that Planned Parenthood practically guarantees one pregnancy in every 10 uses?
Why does Planned Parenthood hand out condoms and birth control pills like candy to our high school and college kids?
Because when they fail, they sell another product, abortion! Talk about the perfect business!
Imagine if I sold pens, my special brand of Peter Shinn pens. You buy one from me and say “Wow this is great, I like the way it writes.” You stick it in your shirt pocket and walk away.
Suddenly, you realize my pen leaked, and stained your shirt with ink. You come back to me and say “Hey, I bought your pen and it ruined my shirt!”
I respond, “Well, first of all, you didn’t read the fine print. It says that one in 10 will fail and stain your shirt.”
“Second, now that your shirt is stained, guess what? I also run a dry cleaning business. 🙂 ”
Planned Parenthood is not just handing out condoms and birth control, they do about 350,000 abortions every year. As the old saying goes, “they get you coming and going.”
Planned Parenthood also rakes in $500 million of taxpayer money to manipulate our children, help them get pregnant and then kill their babies.
I was at a pro-life event at the University a few years ago. Planned Parenthood decided to set up shop next to our table and handout condoms. “Free condoms, free condoms!” they yelled loudly, trying to cover up our message.
A couple of young ladies went over to their booth and scooped up a bunch and walked away. As they were leaving, I ran up to them and said:
“You know, Planned Parenthood’s own website says up to 18% of condom use results in a pregnancy. Even if it were just 10%, think about it, you each have about 20 condoms in your hands. That means each one of you is holding two future children.”
They stared at me silently, with their mouths open. I walked away.
Democrats claim Republicans and conservatives are intolerant dictators, Yet they are the ones who demand our money and our children.
I’m glad to see homeschooling is taking off in America. Unfortunately, the dictator Democrats are trying to shut that down too.
They’re either making homeschooling requirements too high for many people to qualify, or they are banning homeschooling, or they are going to force “Common Core” down the throats of American citizens.
This required teaching will likely include birth control, sex education and homosexual indoctrination.
Nick, you acknowledge you support arms & legs being torn off of human beings, which you call “fetuses,” for research. I challenge you to say that to your mother, or your girlfriend, or your wife, or any girl or woman. I think most will look at you with fear and or disgust.
Please don’t bother me with any more Democrat talking points. The number one issue is, we’re talking about humans beings in the womb, you just want to have the right to kill them, I want them to live. It’s that simple.
Like I said, answers to your “simple question” didn’t simply fit inside 140 characters.
