Genesis 1:28 “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth”
Germany’s population replenishment rate is it about 1.41. They know since the German people won’t have children, Germany is vanishing from this earth. They have tried many things, free vacations, extra money, nothing works. Their people just don’t want children. I listen to the radio and I can tell they are desperate. Sure, there are plenty of “Auslaender” (foreigners), but the problem is, Germany has very strict rules for becoming a citizen. There are people from the East who have lived there all their lives & will never get citizenship.
There’s a reason God said “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.” There are too many people in this world today who don’t want to have children. They see them as inconvenient.
Around the world, women use, are forced to use, or just see abortion as a solution to kill 43 million children in the womb every year. It’s a staggering number. In the United States alone there are over one million people killed in the womb every year.
Let’s look at Genesis 1:28 – 31
“And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.
The end is the part that mankind doesn’t get.
“31And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.”
God created us, and he saw that we are “very good.”
Did you know over 70% of women who have abortions call themselves Christians? How can that be? One reason it’s happening is because churches are silent on the issue of abortion. They may bring it up once a year, but there is certainly no real effort to end abortion.
I’ve heard too many Christians say “If God wanted abortion to end, he would have done it by now.” They’re giving themselves a pass, figuring that if abortion were really that horrible of an issue to God, why wouldn’t he do something about it?
I’m sure the same was said about slavery.
Friends. God is looking to us to end abortion. He is looking to us to take a stand for the defenseless. Not just once a year, but as much as possible.
We welcome you to Prayer Pivot, where you will find countless prayers for the preborn, and where you are encouraged to be bold, and defend the defenseless.
